Hi, I build AI - the models, the products and the teams. In academia, I researched nanotechnology to make AI faster. In industry, I helped train Australia's first LLMs (Matilda and Maincoder) and led the first live agentic payment transaction in Asia Pacific in collaboration with Mastercard. Across both, I've spent 10+ years leading research and product teams at the frontier. What I love most about that work is the people layer: mentoring researchers, shaping team direction, and making the hard calls about what's worth pursuing. Outside the lab, I co-founded MLAI, now Australia's largest AI startup community.
